What is llm.txt?
llm.txt is a convention for publishing LLM-readable documentation at predictable URLs. TCG Online publishes a root index at /llm.txt, a per-game index at /{game}/llm.txt, individual section files (rules, glossary, errata, cards), and a single-file bundle per game at /{game}/llm-full.txt.
Which card games are covered?
The game table on this page lists every published knowledge index. Coverage varies by game: some have indexed rules and cards, some provide official publisher links only, and preview or unavailable sections are labeled explicitly.
Where does the content come from?
Indexed files are generated from game-owned rules sources and card catalogs. For link-only games, the files point to official publisher pages without copying their rules or card text. Each section states what is available.
How big are the files?
Indexed rules sections are often tens to hundreds of kilobytes, and full card catalogs can reach about 1MB. The llm-full.txt bundle embeds cards only while it stays within a reasonable size. Link-only bundles are small source directories without indexed publisher text.
Can an agent query this knowledge over MCP instead of fetching files?
Yes, for indexed content. The read-only TCG Knowledge MCP server offers list_games, search_rules, search_cards, and get_card. Start with list_games to check coverage; search is unavailable for link-only games. The remote URL is https://api.tcg.online/mcp (staging: https://staging-api.cardgoat.org/mcp). Connection details are in /llm.txt and each game's llm-full.txt.
