General Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice explains how personal data is processed when you use TCG Online, create an account, join community services, play, contact us, or purchase a Supporter Membership. It is a notice, not a request to agree to every processing activity. Where consent is required, we ask separately and you may refuse or withdraw it without losing core access.

La plataforma opera bajo el nombre comercial The Card Goat Online desde Avenida Paulista, 1106, Room 01, Floor 16, Bela Vista, São Paulo/SP, Brasil. La identidad jurídica completa y los datos de contacto del responsable de la plataforma deben leerse junto con el Aviso legal. Una entidad distinta puede proporcionar beneficios de la membresía de pago o actuar como vendedor; su identidad y función respecto a los datos se muestran antes de la compra y en la confirmación del pedido.

Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use and choices you make, we process:

  • Identity and contact data: internal account ID, name or display name, email address, age-related eligibility information where needed, and linked-provider identifiers.
  • Account, community, and activity data: provider account identifiers, profile and display name, decks, gameplay, rankings, moderation records, preferences, support messages, and community interactions.
  • Device and storage data: necessary cookies, consent choices, browser and device characteristics, IP-derived security information, logs, and optional analytics identifiers after consent. Advertising and personalization storage remain denied in the current deployment.

How We Use Your Information

Your information may be used to:

  • Create and secure accounts, provide platform and membership features, and maintain game and community state.
  • Respond to support, privacy, safety, billing, cancellation, withdrawal, and rights-holder requests and send necessary service communications.
  • Diagnose errors, prevent abuse, measure reliability, and, with consent where required, understand and improve product use.

How We Collect Your Information

We receive data directly from you, from your use of the platform, from the authentication or community provider you choose, from other users who interact with you, and from service providers such as Stripe or Link. We do not require an optional community-join permission to create a TCG Online account.

Proveedores de autenticación y comunidad

Cuando eliges Google, Discord, Metafy u otro proveedor, este recibe la solicitud y devuelve los identificadores y campos de perfil necesarios para la autenticación. Los permisos opcionales, como unirse a una comunidad de Discord, se solicitan por separado y no son necesarios para una cuenta de TCG Online. Los proveedores tratan los datos conforme a sus propios avisos y a las instrucciones que reciben de nosotros.

Finalidades y bases jurídicas

La ejecución del contrato ampara el acceso a la cuenta, el juego, las funciones comunitarias solicitadas, el soporte y la prestación de la membresía. Las obligaciones legales amparan registros fiscales, contables, de consumo, seguridad y respuesta a titulares de derechos. Tras ponderar los derechos de los usuarios, los intereses legítimos amparan la seguridad estrictamente necesaria, la prevención de abusos, la fiabilidad, la moderación, la mejora del servicio sin seguimiento opcional y las reclamaciones legales. El consentimiento ampara los análisis opcionales, el almacenamiento publicitario y los permisos opcionales de proveedores, y puede retirarse.

Supporter Membership and payments

Stripe processes Supporter Membership payments and may provide Link. We do not receive or store full card or bank-account credentials. We receive identifiers, billing contact information, transaction and invoice references, membership status and dates, limited payment metadata, refunds, disputes, and support events needed to administer benefits, reconcile payments, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. The checkout identifies the seller and whether Link acts as merchant of record for that transaction.

Utilizamos controles de acceso, cifrado en tránsito, medidas de protección de autenticación, registros de auditoría y seguridad, límites de frecuencia, copias de seguridad y telemetría de errores y rendimiento. La telemetría del navegador puede incluir nombres de páginas y rutas, tiempos de solicitud, errores, tipo de interacción, características del navegador y contexto seudónimo de la cuenta. No debe incluir de forma intencionada contraseñas, credenciales de pago completas, contenido de mazos privados ni cuerpos de mensajes, salvo que sea necesario para diagnosticar un informe enviado por el usuario.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Strictly necessary cookies and local storage maintain authentication, security, language, and your privacy choices. Optional analytics remains denied until you consent; advertising and personalization storage remain denied in the current deployment. Browser settings alone are not the only control: you can reopen Privacy settings on TCG Online to accept, reject, or withdraw optional consent.

Optional analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand page use, navigation, feature performance, device and browser characteristics, and aggregated product trends. For signed-in users, we may send a persistent pseudonymous user identifier so activity can be associated across sessions. Google and TCG Online can therefore process personal data even when the identifier does not contain your name or email. Analytics remains disabled until consent and can be disabled again in Privacy settings.

Advertising

The free platform may display advertising where that feature is deployed. The current consent configuration does not permit advertising or personalization storage. Before enabling any non-essential advertising script or vendor, we must identify the vendor and purpose in this notice and obtain any consent required by law. Active members may receive an ad-free signed-in experience.

Your consent choices

Non-essential analytics is disabled until you make an affirmative choice. You can reject it without losing core platform access and can change or withdraw consent from Privacy settings. Advertising and personalization storage remain denied in the current deployment.

Disclosure of Information

Recipients may include authentication and community providers you choose, Stripe and Link for account and membership billing, hosting, database, cache, security, support, analytics, consent, and observability providers, professional advisers, and authorities where legally required. Providers acting on our instructions receive only data needed for their function. Some providers also act as independent controllers under their own notices. We do not sell personal information for money.

Transferencias internacionales

TCG Online y sus proveedores pueden tratar datos en Brasil, el EEE, Estados Unidos y otros países donde operan. Cuando se apliquen restricciones de transferencia del RGPD o la LGPD, utilizamos una decisión de adecuación aplicable, cláusulas contractuales aprobadas, certificación del proveedor u otra garantía lícita, y evaluamos medidas complementarias cuando sea necesario. Data Retention

Account and service data is retained while the account exists and then deleted or de-identified on a documented schedule, subject to backups and legal obligations. Security logs and browser telemetry are kept only for the limited period needed to investigate reliability, abuse, and incidents. Support, moderation, payment, tax, refund, dispute, and legal-claim records may be retained longer for the applicable limitation or statutory recordkeeping period. Vendor-side retention is controlled through our configurations and contracts where available.

Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, confirmation of processing, or information about sharing; object to legitimate-interest processing; withdraw consent as easily as it was given; and complain to your local supervisory authority or the ANPD. Rights can be limited where retention or processing is legally required. Send requests to [email protected]; we may verify identity without requesting unnecessary data.

Children's Privacy

Accounts are intended for users aged 16 or older in the EEA and UK, and at least 13 or the applicable minimum age elsewhere. A paid membership may be purchased only by an adult or with the authorization of a legal guardian where required. We do not knowingly use behavioral advertising or account-linked analytics for a user known to be underage.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this notice when our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will update the date above and provide prominent notice before a material change where required. A new purpose or legal basis will not be applied retrospectively without the notice or consent required by law.

Preguntas y reclamaciones

Los usuarios del EEE y del Reino Unido también pueden reclamar ante la autoridad de control de su residencia habitual, lugar de trabajo o del lugar de la presunta infracción. Los usuarios de Brasil pueden ejercer los derechos de la LGPD y, después de contactarnos, presentar una petición ante la ANPD.
